LIFT CONDITIONS

Lifting large and heavy items is a very delicate job! Parker Rigging Company takes this job very seriously and always wants to ensure that we do our job safely, efficiently, and effectively. In order to be as safe as possible Parker Rigging Company must pay a tremendous amount of attention to the weather.

There are a multitude of factors that must be accounted for in order to complete a safe lift, such as wind speed, lightening, and visibility. Any one of these can make it unsafe to perform lifting and rigging operations.

To help our customers understand what we classify as safe lifting conditions, we have created the Automatic Lift Conditions System. This system will show our customers on our website what the current conditions are for the Charleston Area. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call us!

	GREEN-Optimal Lifting Conditions are defined as Clear Skies and low to no winds.
	YELLOW-Fair Lifting Conditions are defined as light to moderate winds, mild inclement weather, and/or extreme temperatures.
	RED-Unsafe lifting Conditions are defined as High Winds, PoorVisibility, Heavy Precipitation, Lightening, Low Visibility, and/orNational Weather Alerts Posted.
